A clear next step after add to cart.

Product pageWinnerFilter brand

Immediate confirmation, with a clear choice to view the cart or keep shopping.

This is an anonymized A/B test summary from a 90-day CRO program. The company name is withheld, and the wireframes are recreated with a generic brand.

The problem.

The moment after add to cart is a decision point of its own. Customers need to know that the correct product was added, confirm the pack and filter specification, and choose whether to keep browsing or move into the cart. The program identified uncertainty at this point in the funnel; a successful add-to-cart action needed a clearer continuation of the buying journey.

The evidence and questions.

The 90-day CRO program combined GA4 funnel analysis, Microsoft Clarity heatmaps and recordings, and Survicate micro-surveys. Research identified friction around product decisions, the add-to-cart moment, and category navigation. This experiment addressed the uncertainty immediately after adding an item.

The hypothesis.

If an item-added popup confirms the selected product and gives customers clear choices to view the cart or continue shopping, then more customers will progress into the cart and checkout because the next step is easier to understand.

The change, made tangible.

Reported individual-test results from a 90-day CRO program. Sample size, confidence level, and the financial-return calculation were not included in the summary. Wireframes are recreated and anonymized.

The useful learning.

A clearer confirmation can help customers move forward after a purchase decision. The useful principle is to investigate what customers need at this moment, then test the response for that audience.
